Went into 4 Res for an 'orientation' lesson - shared my love for English and some interesting aspects of the subject/language.
Also, artiulcating expectations and norms I would like in the class.
- No hands up
- Random calling
- Community of learners
- There are "good' wrong answers
- We learn through effort and attention
- Thinking takes place all the time in class

Charge up and enthused when I sense the excitement and palpable interest in learning. Matter of establishing ties/relationships.

Shared my interest in etymology.

Quote for the day.
"Imagination is more powerful than knowledge"
Albrt Einstein

Falling in love with English is easy. Interesting and fascinating facts /aspects. Novel and new knowledge.
Remainig in love is difficult - boring, technical, new and challenging skills and content
